甲午马年实在不好。开年至今8个月世界各地发生太多灾难。先有飞机消消失不知所踪、3架飞机飞别在欧洲，非洲和台湾失事、中东以巴冲突死伤、台湾高雄煤气爆炸、再有云南大地震；实在多事之一年。 7个月来，其灾难性和突发性是国际化的。任何国家的人民都有可能遇难；这在飞机失事、飞机失联事件可见一斑。 华人有句话老话说 “多事之秋”；意思是事故或事变很多的时期。现在我们正要步入秋天 Autumn Season ，不得不多加防范于未然。 当然，我们不希望世界再有灾难；再有人哭泣；然而，秋天带有萧杀之气（壬申之乱、 癸酉之变、甲戌风灾) 我们也不得不有心理准备。 阳历8月7日以后，恐怕灾难将会加剧，风雨飘摇、内忧外患、 动荡不安 鸡犬不宁、兵连祸结等。我们能做的也是祈福求平安。 在此，我以原出於《書經》和《洪範》的 〈五福〉来祝大家 “五福临门”。 到底五福是什麼呢？原来第一福是「長壽」longeivity，第二福是「富貴」wealth，第三福是「康寧」health，第四福是「好德」virtue，第五福是「善終」Natural Death。 註：《書經》上所記載的五福是：一曰壽、二曰富、三曰康寧、四曰修好德、五曰考的終命（《書經洪範》） 第一，祝各位读者「長壽」longevity，命不夭折而且福壽綿長。 第二，祝各位读者「富貴」wealth，錢財富足而且地位尊貴。 第三，祝各位读者「康寧」health, 是身體健康而且心靈安寧。 第四，祝各位读者 「好德」virtue, 是生性仁善而且寬厚寧靜。 第五，祝所有老人身体健康、颐养天年；终其天年时，得享「善終」。 「善終」是能預先知道自己的死期。臨命終時，沒有遭到橫禍，身體沒有病痛，心裏沒有罣礙和煩惱，安詳而且自在地離開人間。 此五福，不只是海内外所有华人的传统家庭祈愿；更是所有人，不分种族、宗教和国家；人人可求，人人得。愿你家得“五福临门”。 “ 祝福大家下半年顺顺利利，好人有好报，福人有福报” …
