  1. When Kitchen and WC/Toilet share the same wall, the possibility to get sick and misfortune is relatively high.
  2. The possibility of Misfortune is doubled or tripled, if the stove leans against the wall of toilet bowl DIRECTLY as shown above.
  3. This is common Stove feng shui mistake and it happened again in recent feng shui audit in Kuala Lumpur.
  4. The female owner of the property was proven sick but none of the hospitals in KL was able to pinpoint the cause because all types of medical check up show NO PROBLEM; yet the female owner felt weaker day after day. Her physical weakness couldn’t even allow her to talk for more than 30 minutes. Yet, all medical check-ups said that there was NO Problem.

Kindly elaborate about the significance of Chinese New Year?

  1. Chinese New Year(CNY) starts with the New Moon on the first day of the new year and ends on the Full Moon 15 days later.
  2. Normally, it is celebrated from a day before of the New Moon, New Year Eve(the last day of the last month of the Chinese Calender), till the 15th day of Full Moon. It makes up totally of 1+15 days for CNY celebration.
  3. New Year Eve and New Year’s Day are celebrated as a family affair, a time of reunion and thanksgiving.
  4. Relatives and cousins visiting each other to strengthen the feeling of bondage and sense of belonging. This kind of mutual visiting strengthens the support within an extended family year after year.
  5. The 15th day of the new year is called the Lantern Festival, which is celebrated at night with lantern displays and children carrying lanterns in a parade. It is also “Valentine “ according to Chinese Calender.
  6. CNY also known as Spring Festival, the literal translation of the modern Chinese name.
  7. Chinese New Year is an important traditional Chinese holiday celebrated at the turn of the Chinese calendar. Hence, lighting firecrackers as symbols of vibrant prosperity and happiness are very common during these 1+15 days celebration.
  8. At the turn of time from New Year Eve to the 1st Day of CNY from 11pm to 1 am, every house will light firecrackers as a sign to welcome the arrival of new year with the most joyous mood and vibrant firecrackers.
  9. Although the Chinese calendar traditionally does not use continuously numbered years, outside China its years are often numbered from the reign of the 3rd millennium BC Yellow Emperor. But at least three different years numbered 1 are now used by various scholars, making the year beginning AD 2015 the “Chinese Year” 4713, 4712, or 4652.

 

How does the Chinese New Year is celebrated & its preparation?

  1. Often, Chinese will start to get prepared 7-14 days before the arrival of the New Year Eve.
  2. It is also traditional for every family to thoroughly cleanse the house, in order to sweep away any ill-fortune and to make way for good incoming luck.
  3. Windows and doors will be decorated with red color paper-cuts and couplets with popular themes of “good fortune” or “happiness”, “wealth”, “health” and “longevity.”
  4. All these preparation always starts 14 days before CNY and must finish before New Year Eve.
  5. The evening preceding Chinese New Year’s Day is an occasion for Chinese families to gather for the annual reunion dinner. This reunion is vitally important for Family Harmony and Good Fortune in the Up-coming New Year.
  6. Hence, All family members are expected to get back home for New Year Eve Reunion Dinner at Home. The communal feast called “surrounding the stove” or 围炉weilu. It symbolizes family unity.
  7. Lighting firecrackers and Lion Dance are  2 Significant Signs to celebrate and welcome the vibrant arrival of Chinese New Year.
  8. Giving money in red paper envelopes is practiced as a symbol of blessing from elder generation to younger generation. The true meaning of this is more about “Blessing” rather than the money inside the red paper envelopes.
  9. Therefore, Lion Dance with Firecrackers and Red Paper envelopes constitute as “Moving” Auspicious New Year Symbolism; while hanging lantern in the foyer, Chinese New Year indoor decoration like red paper-cut and couplet(blessing poetry) serve as “Non-Moving” Auspicious New year Emblems.
  10. Moving & Non-Moving Symbolism/Emblem serve as Chinese New Year Feng Shui Enhancers in this case intentionally and unintentionally.

Financial hardship/difficulty/burden could be a common problem to many families in city.  Financial difficulty is, when your income is insufficient to cover reasonable living expenses and meet financial commitments. People can find themselves in financial difficulty for many reasons. It can be caused by life changes like losing a job, going through a divorce, or economy downturn or even inflation.  When external scenario changes, your home feng shui also changes accordingly. Feng Shui does change, not only due to timeliness (like yearly feng shui, monthly feng shui), but also change in accordance to many external factors like economy, inflation, relationship, networking, neighborhood, state of mood & mind…….

Statistics shows that a drop of income/standard of living below 25%,  is acceptable and passable  by a normal household.  However, if the drop of income/standard of living has reached 30%, then, it would be very extremely alarming and cause suffering to the members of the family.  Financial Difficulty is traceable and detectable by 5 elements + Bagua concept. Financial burden in fact is accumulative over a period of time. It is highly possible identifiable by “destructive cycle ” 五行相克 of 5 elements. According to 5 elements, when there are 2 elements clash each other, it means the household is having a symptom of a negative change by 2/5 x 100% = 40% . This figure (40%) could be transformed / translated into the hostility/adversity/misery either in the form of marriage, finance, safety or career.  When feng shui calamity/misfortune explodes, it would backfire at this figure (40%). That is the reason why when bad feng shui erupts, it always causes irreparable result. On the other hand, there are 8 sectors in your home feng shui, namely Bagua or Eight Trigram. 

Each sector commands 1/8 x 100% = 12.5% of your luck in various segment of your life.

Among these 8 sectors, there are 3 sectors relate to one’s financial performance.      

Each of these 3 sectors constructs  3 x 12.5% = 37.5% of your TOTAL financial luck.
