If life is a vast ocean that an individual/a family is tested with various challenges during his/her earthly life span; then,
Bed 床 is Ship船 symbolically in your home feng shui; for support, strength, stability, hope for your future and backbone to your family & procreation.
If ship carries cargo, wealth, capital, revenue, richness, luxury, fortune & possession ;
then, bed means for success, destiny, treasure, fame, honesty & loyalty, fidelity, allegiance, faithfulness, devotion & obedience.
Hence, the headboard of a bed must be always lean against a solid wall nicely/properly/stably/solidly/fixedly/non-abnormally/ WITHOUT Gap in between, as below.

We work and earn a living during Daytime & rest peacefully in the Night time.
Hence, the ship(bed in this case) must be anchored & aligned according to the edge of the harbor(leaning wall in this case), nicely/naturally & accordingly for stability and security.
It is not recommended to slant/tilt the headboard of the bed as below.
Slanted/Tilted Headboard as below carries a lot of negative possibilities.

1. Crooked Bed is called Xie Chuang 斜床.
2. And the sound is likened to Xie Chuan 邪船; it means Evil Boat.
3. Evil Boat is called Pirate Boat 海盗船
5. Then you could easily figure out how a pirate is telescoping/spying other boat(bed) from his own boat(bed) with his crooked smile as picture above.

If you are looking for effective & practical feng shui beyond 1 year for your new house, perhaps this article is for you.
If you cannot accept to tilt your main door (slanting door) or relocate your main door, then this article is for you.
Many house owners are looking & hoping for good feng shui; but NOT to the extent to tilt their main doors to be slanted / angled / inclined and look weird.

Many grand feng shui setup for modern bungalows or old mansions are based on this feng shui procedures.
It is not a common phenomenon to get a tilted / slanted main door for an auspicious bungalow or mansion.
