The analysis is limited to the middle-class 中产阶级 in Asian Countries, especially in East Asia & South East Asia. The success of the middle class in those regions shares many meaningful values and life principles that contribute to the rise and maintaining the status quo of the Middle Class.
Below are the sub-division of those underneath values which play vital roles in succeeding the rise and fortune of the Middle Class.
- Family Power – Set Up Your Family During Peak Season
- According to Huang Di Nei Jing 黄帝内经, male reaches his masculine climate at the age of 32岁 and female reaches her feminine climate at 28岁. Hence, ideally, the family should be set up around these ages (plus-minus 1 year).
- However, the couple should NOT get marriage earlier than 24 years old for males and 21 years old for females; as the personal Qi is not ready for procreation.
- The most energized and fertilized period for embryo conception is 28-34 for females and 32 to 39 years old for males. This range of ages is the optimum Qi for a new generation.
- Family Values – Food and Gathering
- Insisting on Daily Dinner Gathering.
- Pandemic /Covid 19 message to you is to be home-oriented & family-centered.
- This is vitally important to maintain the inward-oriented family solidarity & unity without fail; except for a few special exemptions or emergencies.
- Pleasant mood and loving-kindness of true family love and caring are the main ingredients of the daily dinner time.
- The dinner meal at home could be simple yet full of caring and love.
- This is the energy recharge for each family member.
- Disharmony and disagreement must be avoided during dinner.
- Insisting on Home Cooking. It is highly advisable that the family should dedicate someone to cook and prepare for the dinner. It is much auspicious to cook by the family member rather than maid or outsider. This is because love caring mood for the family of the cook towards the family is very important as a powerful “food blessing”.
- Averagely, the successful Asian middle class spends 3 times at home-cook dinner per week. Those who are very successful spend more than 3 times. There is a tendency for the underprivileged middle class to have less than 2 to zero times of home-cook meals per week.
- In terms of feng shui, the kitchen is the symbol of the livelihood of the family.
- The fire energy in the kitchen represents the vitality of the financial earning power of the household.
- It is not an auspicious sign if the stove has not been switched on for food cooking more than 7 days;
- The material of rice bowls and plates for foods must be a ceramic material.

- Family Value – Husband and Wife
- The middle class I refer to is a double-income family. Both husband and wife are active as breadwinners. They work 5days per week. Therefore, both of them are having quite a hectic lifestyle compared to Single income family.
- However, the husband is still the head (Qian trigram) of the family. The wife always respects the husband publicly and privately in terms of “Leadership”.
- If the leadership of the husband is always been challenged by the wife, the husband would not be successful in a career at the one hand; and the wife would have an unhappy marriage in return in terms of family functionalities.
- Similarly, if the husband commits domestic violence towards the wife at home, the family is at the edge of dysfunction, although it looks good apparently. This is because the Wife is Kun trigram, which means potential property and future wealth.
- North West is the sector for the husband while South West is the sector for the wife.
- North East is the sector for offsprings and progeny.
- Faithfulness 信(Earth Element) is the axis of family harmony.
- Family Value – Parents & Children
- Kindness 仁 (Wood Element) of parents is the growth catalyst for family luck in general.

- Brotherhood is strongly present among successful families.
