The business operator of Mr Pot Cafe is Elaine Loh(& her husband). She is my feng shui student who has reached intermediate level. The business starts from year 2007. I was invited to audit the feng shui before she started the whole construction for new business venture. I still could remember the place was occupied by an old style Chinese restaurant.

It faces seashore and located along Gurney Drive. However, based on the topography and surrounding feature, do you think I still treat the sea front as the facing?  This is very crucial as many would simply take the sea front as the facing. To me, I don’t think so. 　Ｔｈｅ　ｓｅｃｒｅｔ　ｉｓ　－　ｈｏｗ　Ｉ　ｒｅｏｒｅｉｎｔａｔｅｄ　ｔｈｅ　ｆａｃｉｎｇ　ｗｉｔｈ　ｓｕｒｒｏｕｎｄｉｎｇ　ｗａｔｅｒ　ｍｏｕｔｈ，　Ｑｉ　Ｍｏｕｔｈ，　ｎｅａｒｂｙ　Ｓｕｐｅｒ　ｃｏｎｄｏ　ａｎｄ　Ｂｕｋｉｔ　Ｍｅｒｔａｊａｍ　ａｔ　ｔｈｅ　ｏｐｐｏｓｉｔｅ　ｓｅａｓｈｏｒｅ．Ｔhe operator had broken down the existing concrete structure and rebuilt　ｔｏ　ｔｈｅ　ｆａｒｍａｔｉｏｎ　ａｎｄ　ｃｏｎｆｉｇｕｒａｔｉｏｎ　Ｉ　ｄｅｍａｎｄｅｄ．  What you see now in the picture is NOT the original building. The old building had gone.

The location of the kitchen, kitchen orientation, toilet，　ｐａｓｓａｇｅｓ　 and entrance (there is no major construction as it is an open air concept) were all constructed based on my advice,accepts air-cond room which they decided not to have. Until today this outlet is still generating biggest profit among various businesses. Due to good café   business Elaine as the boss is still required full participation to the café . Happily I bless her for good business and feel satisfied to the result oriented feng shui enhancement.

Confident with the business, Elaine Loh & her husband decided to open another outlet due to overwhelming demand in year 2008. The second café outlet is located at Upper Penang Road. If you visit the second outlet at Upper Penang Road, you could pay attention to the water fountain which was constructed based on my advice.  However, I did tell them that the original locality is not an ideal feng shui place; yet, the water fountain would be able to help to certain degree only. Comparatively, the Gurney drive café is still the best in term of feng shui.

Business is a form of investment. Elaine is business minded woman. She sold off the second outlet to the new operator with a good price for instant profit. Of course, she would not sell the Gurney outlet as she knows its feng shui works.　Ｎｅｖｅｒｔｈｅｌｅｓｓ，Ｅｌａｉｎｅ　ｈａｓ　ｔｒａｉｎｅｄ　ａ　ｇｒｏｕｐ　ｏｆ　ｃｈｅｆｓ　ｔｏ　ｓｅｒｖｅ　ｙｏｕ　ｗｉｔｈ　ｔｈｅ　ｄｅｌｉｃｉｏｕｓ　ｆｏｏｄ　ａｔ　Ｇｕｒｖｅ　Ｄｒｉｖｅ　Ｍｒ　Ｐｏｔ　ｃａｆｅ．

Today, if you visit the Upper Penang road outlet (with a new name), you would find that the water fountain had dried up. The original water fountain wall’s color had been changed from Yellow to Red by the new business operator. And, you can judge whether does it still enjoy good business …..
