Reasonable Doubts That The Relationship of Modern Singapore & Yijing

1. Lee Kuan Yew used to criticize & challenge /veto feng shui openly when it was said that the urbanization & modernization of Singapore(back in the 70s & 80s) killed Singapore’s feng shui under his administration by older generations.
2. On the contrary, many also said that Lee Kuan Yew wasn’t anti-feng shui but gave way to it as part of a major element of Singapore’s modernity & urban planning; including a personal metaphysics consultant(monk).
3. Anyway, only Singaporeans are in the position to comment further.
4. My point here is that the more I read Lee Kuan Yew’s Biography & his thoughts cum ideas, the more I see his mind was filled with The Theory of Mutable Change from Yijing 易理论.

6. You can coin it as pragmatism /dynamism from the western perspective.
7. However, no one has achieved what he had, no one has seen what he saw.
8. And his futuristic opinions are vitally relevant today.
9. I could see his futuristic thoughts were founded on Metascientistics,  1 of 3 main pillars of Yijing, namely
   1. 1. Metascientistics 理
      2. Metanumerics 数
      3. Eidetics 象
10. There were some elements (as below) from his thoughts that helped him in Nation Building
    1. Second Pillar of Yijing – Metanumerics 数
    2. Third Pillar of Yijing –  Eidetics 象
11. Yet, I would say he expanded his thoughts and ideas predominantly based on the First Pillar of Yijing – Metascientistics 理; based on my personal study on Yijing for 25 years.
12. There are 2 major schools of thought in Yijing
    1. Yijing Reasoning School of Thought (Metascientistics)义理派
    2. Yijing Symbolism & Numeric School of Thought (Metanumerics + Eidetics) 象数派
13. He was mainly the former with some element from the latter.

    1. East Vs West
    2. Asia Vs Europe
    3. International Vs Regional
